Dyna-Seal™ Brush Seal Technology

Sealeze Dyna-Seal™ brush seal is a patent pending technology that provides an effective seal between two areas of different dynamic pressures. Dyna-Seal brush seals prevent the flow of air, smoke, vapors and particulates through openings in floors, walls or doors in applications such as sealing around cables in data center floors, walls and ceilings and for elevator smoke control. Dyna-Seal brush seals provide a more effective seal than ordinary brush seals. In applications where an even greater seal is required, Sealeze XtraSeal™ together with Dyna-Seal technology provides the maximum brush barrier to smoke, air, debris and spray.

Dyna-Seal Brush Technology
Dyna-Seal brush seals use polygonal-shaped filaments that nest and interlock to
provide a more effective brush seal than brushes constructed with typical round
filaments. Dyna-Seal filaments nest together forming an almost impenetrable barrier.
The edges of the filaments resist the movement of adjacent filaments making it harder
for gaps to form that permit passage of air, smoke, etc. through the brush. In fact, when
tested, Dyna-Seal brushes sealed up to 25% better than brushes made with typical
round filaments.

XtraSeal Brush Technology
XtraSeal brushes have a solid sheet of thin, flexible membrane sandwiched between
layers of filament. The filaments hold the membrane in position to provide an
additional, nearly impenetrable barrier.
